Guidelines

Cílem práce je popis a zhodnocení profesionální dráhy, díla a odkazu amerického teoretika překladu E. Nidy se zaměřením na oblast translatologie a překladatelství biblických textů. Nida bude představen jako teoretik, metodolog i organizátor v dobovém kontextu. Analýza zahrne dobový stav teorie překladu a vedlejších disciplin, Nidova teoreticko-metodologická východiska, vývoj jeho teorie a její kritický rozbor, recepci jeho díla a návaznosti; zhodnotí jeho přínos ve vývoji translatologie. Zvláštní zřetel bude věnován jeho činnosti v oblasti biblického překladu. Práce bude doplněna úplnou bibliografií díla.
