Guidelines

Infinitiv absolutní je jedním z gramatických tvarů slovesa biblické hebrejštiny, který ve spojení s finitním tvarem téhož slovesa tvoří konstrukci, jež zesiluje význam slovesa a do moderních jazyků se mnohdy překládá adverbiálně. V Septuagintě je, dle výzkumu Emanuela Tova, tato konstrukce nejčastěji překládána pomocí participia či substantiva příbuzného slovesu ve finitním tvaru.
Bakalářská práce má za cíl zkoumat, jakým způsobem je tato konstrukce překládána do latiny v Jeronýmově Vulgátě a zda se tento způsob v jednotlivých knihách Starého zákona liší. Výchozím předpokladem je, že překlady, které vznikly dříve, jsou doslovnější a věrněji odrážejí hebrejské konstrukce, zatímco v překladech pozdějších Jeroným hledal řešení pro latinu elegantnější. Praktická část práce bude založena na excerpci všech konstrukcí infinitiv absolutní + finitní tvar slovesa z hebrejského textu Starého zákona.
