| Bakalářská práce prozkoumá adverbia, která premodifikují adjektiva a intenzifikují jejich význam. Třída intenzifikátorů bude vymezena na základě velkých mluvnic angličtiny, zejména Quirk a kol. (1985) a Biber a kol. (1999). Materiál bude čerpán z korpusu Spoken BNC2014, který obsahuje autentické neformální mluvené projevy převážně britských mluvčích angličtiny. Analýza se zaměří na frekvenci jednotlivých intenzifikátorů, jejich kolokace (sémantické preference) a případně sémantickou prozodii. Bude popsáno syntaktické okolí intenzifikátoru (stavba adjektivní fráze, kombinace intenzifikátorů, syntaktická funkce adjektivní fráze). Pokud to bude možné (korpus není v době zadání práce ještě veřejně přístupný), budou sledovány i sociolingvistické charakteristiky mluvčích (pohlaví, věk a sociální třída mluvčího). |
