| Cílem práce je představit Euripidovu Alkestis jako text na hranici tragického žánru. Ohledat jeho žánrovou nejednoznačnost, najít jeho unikátnost v rámci diskurzu tragédie a skrze to problematizovat a rozšířit chápání tragédie jako literárně-divadelního fenoménu. Největší pozornost v rámci samotného textu by měla patřit poslednímu obrazu hry: mlčící, tělesně nepřítomné Alkestis navrativší se z podsvětí. Právě v problematických motivech absence jazyka (jakožto média tragédie) a návratu ze záhrobí (jakožto momentu narušení zdánlivé tragické definitivnosti) by měla nejvíce rezonovat liminalita této tragedie, pohybující se v kontrastu jazyka a mlčení, jazyka a těla, cykličnosti a linearity. |
