Guidelines

Řešitelka v práci zpracuje téma asijské finanční krize roku 1997 v Korejské republice. Kromě ekonomické stránky se zaměří též na společenské dopady krize v souvislosti s opatřeními přijatými v rámci podmínek poskytnutí finanční pomoci od Mezinárodního měnového fondu. S odstupem dvou desetiletí se pokusí zhodnotit její řešení a důsledky nejen v makroekonomické oblasti (restrukturalizace bankovního a průmyslového sektoru), ale i v oblasti společenské, kdy tvrdá ozdravná opatření byla spojena s bankrotem velkého počtu firem a s následným masovým propouštěním, což vyvolalo enormní tlak na změnu systému sociálního zabezpeční. "Krizi IMF" (korejsky "IMF ügi"), či "Éru IMF" ("IMF sidä") se tedy pokusí uchopit a popsat jako jev ekonomicko-sociální, v celkovém společenském kontextu.
