Guidelines

Práce srovná tři osvícenské učebnice estetiky – Entwurf einer Theorie und Literatur der schönen Wissenschaften Johanna Joachima Eschenburga, Theorie der schönen Wissenschaften Johanna Augusta Eberharda a Lectures on Rhetoric and Belles-Lettres Hugha Blaira. Všechny tři učebnice vyšly ve stejném roce 1783 a řadí se k nejstarším učebnicím estetiky, které přineslo evropské osvícenství. Práce popíše ráz jednotlivých učebnic jak celkově, tak po vybraných teoriích, tématech a idejích a poté je vzájemně srovná. Cílem srovnání bude zjistit, zda existovaly rozdíly mezi skotským (obecněji britským) a německým způsobem tematizování estetických otázek na úrovni učebních textů, popíše v čem tyto rozdíly spočívaly a jak se projevily v pojetí učebnic jako celku a rovněž v rozvíjení jednotlivých teorií, témat a idejí. Vedlejším cílem bude stejným způsobem postihnout rozdíly mezi oběma německými texty.
