| Náplňou diplomovej práce je skúmanie démonických postáv na reliéfnych urnách v Etrúrii. Predmetom skúmania sú publikované reliéfne urny helénistického obdobia z celej oblasti Etrúrie a dôraz bude kladený na Vanth a Charuna, poprípade iných démonov. V úvodných kapitolách budú charakterizované démonické postavy a vývoj ich zobrazení na rôznych médiách v Etrúrii predhelénistického ale aj helénistického obdobia.
Jednotlivé urny, na ktorých sa vyskytujú títo démoni, budú podrobené analýze, ktorá bude zohľadňovať ich atribúty, charakter jednotlivých scén a rolu týchto démonov v nich. Z nazbieraných dát bude vytvorená analytická tabuľka. Katalóg reliéfnych zobrazení na urnách bude obsahovať, vzhľadom na ich vysoký počet, vždy najlepšie dochovaný príklad scény na urne, a bude tak zastupovať opakujúce sa, identické scény. |
