| Předmětem diplomové práce je analýza vzniku Svobodné skotskécírkve (Free Church of Scotland), která se vytvořila odloučením od Skotské církve (Church of Scotland) v roce 1843. Cílem práce tak bude rozbor původních příčin odloučení, které se týkají především patronátního práva z roku 1711, a důležitých mezníků (např. generálního sněmu z roku1834), které vedly k roztržce a vzniku Svobodné skotské církve. Dalším předmětem zájmu bude představení dvou skupin, které se v rámci bojů o vznik Svobodné skotské církve utvářely(Evangelicals x Moderates), a také pohled britské politické scény na rozkol. V závěrečné kapitole bude představen následný vývoj Svobodné skotské církve po roztržce. Ke zpracování budou využity vybrané primární zdroje a relevantní odborná literatura. Dílčí výsledky práce budou průběžně konzultovány s vedoucím DP. |
