| Autor bude ve své bakalářské práci analyzovat zahraničněpolitické vztahy mezi Velkou Británií a Libyí v osmdesátých letech dvacátého století. Zaměří se především na období od roku 1984 do roku 1990, kdy byly premiérka Margaret Thatcherová a potažmo celá britská politická scéna a společnost nuceny reagovat na několik tragických událostí spojených s teroristickou činností. Zejména se jednalo o vraždu policistky Yvonne Fletcherové před libyjskou ambasádou v Londýně a o bombový útok na palubě letadla Pan Am 103. V obou těchto útocích se angažovali libyjští občané. Problematika mezinárodního sporu mezi thatcherovskou Británií a Kaddáfího Libyí bude v práci zkoumána z britského pohledu s důrazem na iniciativu premiérky Thatcherové. Autor bude vycházet především z pramenů a odborné literatury britské provenience. |
