Preliminary scope of work

Hlavným cieľom predkladanej dizertačnej práce je zhodnotiť inštitút kolektívneho investovania cez prizmu finančného práva a uviesť jeho vývojové tendencie vo vybraných krajinách EÚ. Zameranie sa na finančnoprávny aspekt kolektívneho investovania má pomôcť objasniť finančnoprávny rámec regulácie tohto odvetvia finančného trhu a najmä poukázať na zmeny v danom rámci. Z geografického hľadiska je predmetom skúmania kolektívne investovanie v Nemecku, Českej republike, Maďarsku a na Slovensku. Výber krajín je determinovaný mojou snahou zachytiť odlišné a podobné znaky kolektívneho investovania v strednej Európe (Česká republika, Maďarsko a Slovensko) a súčasne porovnať zaznamenané znaky genézy kolektívneho investovania v postkomunistických krajinách s kolektívnym investovaním v krajine, ktorá po druhej svetovej vojne vykazovala znaky kapitalisticky orientovaného hospodárstva (Nemecko).

Preliminary scope of work in English

The main objective of the present dissertation is to evaluate the institution of collective investment through the prism of the financial law and to indicate its development trends in selected EU countries. Focusing on the financial and legal aspect of the collective investment is intended to help clarify the financial and legal framework for the regulation in this sector of the financial market and, in particular, to highlight the changes in that framework. Geographically, the collective investment in Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia is the subject of the study. The choice of countries is determined by my desire to depict the distinct and similar features of collective investment in Central Europe (the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia) and at the same time to compare the observed features in the genesis of the collective investment in the post-communist countries with a country that exhibited features of a capitalist-oriented economy after the World War II (Germany).
