Guidelines

Počátky asijské imigrace do Latinské Ameriky sahají do první poloviny 19. století a svým významem se řadí mezi nejvýraznější migrační procesy v latinskoamerických dějinách. Jedním z hlavních center asijské menšiny se stalo Peru, kam v průběhu druhé poloviny 19. století směřovala většina čínských a počátkem 20. století i japonských přistěhovalců.

Diplomová práce si klade za cíl popsat historický vývoj asijské imigrace do Peru se zaměřením na japonskou imigraci v období let 1899 – 1945 a její proměny ze zdroje levné pracovní síly v silnou podnikatelskou elitu. V první části práce budou popsány jednotlivé faktory, které ovlivnily příliv japonských přistěhovalců do Peru. V druhé části budou na základě analýzy ekonomických, demografických a socioekonomických dat blíže popsány jednotlivé vývojové etapy japonského přistěhovalectví.
