Guidelines

Součástí jazykové krajiny evropských měst je vícejazyčnost, která se nevyhýbá ani převážně monolingvním společnostem. Nabízí se otázka, jakým způsobem zde vznikají jednotlivé jazykové verze a zda jeví rysy překladovosti. Diplomová práce nastíní, co může výzkumu jazykové krajiny nabídnout translatologie a jaké teoreticky zajímavé rysy jeví jazyková krajina jak na různých místech ČR, tak konkrétně v Praze. Stěžejní částí práce bude empirický průzkum přesně vymezené zóny v centru Prahy, na jehož základě popíšeme, jaké jazyky jsou v této jazykové krajině zastoupeny, jaká je jazyková kvalita a komunikativní funkčnost textů a jak se v nich projevuje překladovost. Textová analýza se bude týkat převážně jazykové dvojice čeština – angličtina.
