Diplomová práce prozkoumá idiolekt dvou prezidentských kandidátů – Hillary Clintonové a Donalda Trumpa na pozadí projevů ostatních kandidátů na post prezidenta Spojených států amerických v předvolební kampani v roce 2016. Metodologicky vychází práce z přístupu označovaného jako ‚corpus-assisted discourse analysis‘ (Partington et al., 2013). Jako materiál budou použity přepisy debat prezidentských kandidátů, které reflektují individuální rysy řeči jednotlivých mluvčích lépe než připravené projevy. Budou vytvořeny tři subkorpusy obsahující promluvy: a) Hillary Clintonové, b) Donalda Trumpa, c) ostatních účastníků předvolebních debat. Práce se zaměří nejprve na analýzu frekventovaných a klíčových slov a slovních spojení, která charakterizují subkorpusy a) a b); subkorpus c) bude využit jako referenční korpus. Budou popsána jak tematická klíčová slova (‚aboutness keywords‘) tak lexikální a gramatické indikátory stylu obou sledovaných mluvčích. Práce dále porovná výsledky získané analýzou subkorpusů a) a b) a popíše rozdíly mezi promluvami Hillary Clintonové i Donalda Trumpa. |
