Záměrem naší práce je znovu vyložit základy Spinozovy ontologie, jak ji vypracoval v první knize Etiky, spolu s přihlédnutím k jeho korespondenci. Hodláme vypracovat interpretaci stěžejních pojmů substance, atributu a modu na obecně ontologické rovině, totiž jako základní modality bytí, a tuto perspektivu využít a rozvinout v analýze klíčových charakteristik Substance – jednoty, existence a imanence. S tím se pojí ambice prozkoumat se substancí úzce související pojem atributu, který ač zcela zásadní pro celou Spinozovu filosofii, zůstává opředen mnoha nejasnostmi a obtížemi. Práce by ve výsledku měla schematicky představit ontologickou strukturu, jež podpírá celek Spinozovy metafyziky, a doplnit ji o funkční výklad zmíněných principiálních pojmů. |
