Guidelines

Diplomová práce, zamýšlená jako příspěvek k vymezení staroanglického lexikálního pole „svatost“, se bude zabývat popisem morfosyntaktických a lexikosémantických charakteristik pěti přídavných jmen – hālig, (ge)sǣlig, ēad(ig), gebletsod, frēo – na základě jejich výskytů v různých typech textů staroanglické prózy, z hlediska vzájemných souvislostí a rozdílů v dobovém užití (žánry a typy textů; vazba na latinské textové předlohy aj.) a s přihlédnutím k jejich osudům v následném jazykovém vývoji. Sběr dat bude založen na kombinaci lexikografické (Thesaurus of Old English, Bosworth–Toller´s An Anglo-Saxon Dictionary) a korpusové analýzy (vycházející zejména z The York-Toronto-Helsinki Parsed corpus of Old English Prose).
