Guidelines

Anotace:
Data z bakalářské práce budou doplněna údaji z Frankfurtu a autor se pokusí o jejich propojení za účelem hledání možností pro komparaci. Využije přitom metod situační analýzy a sekundární analýzy kvalitativních dat, předpokládá se zvládnutí problematiky metodologické a případně také lingvistické. Půjde o explorační studii, lze uvažovat i o případném doplnění materiálu na české straně, a to zejména v případě, kdyby se možnosti komparace ukázaly jako omezené.
Jazykem práce může být angličtina, neboť to je podmínkou dalšího (doktorského) studia v SRN.
The data from bachelor thesis are to be completed by the data acquired from Centre for Drug Research based in Frankfurt. Author is attempting to find way of possible links between data in order to seek possibilities of comparison. He would like to use method of situational and secondary qualitative data analysis. There is assumption of handling methodological as well linguistic struggles. The aim of the study is exploratory while in the consideration is also completion of the bachelor thesis based data if the possibilities of comparison are not sufficient.
Cíle:
The main goal is thorough discussion of drug dealing phenomena based on own analysis of two data sets which is coupled with the discussion of theoretical and methodological approaches. Emphasis is going to be put on the strengths and weakness of different approaches to analysis, interpretation and their specific combinations.
Metodika:
I expound upon my bachelor thesis and especially the model of behaviour presented there. The impulse to the analysis is inclusion of the interviews conducted by Centre for Drug Research at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt. I would like to apply secondary qualitative analysis (Heaton 2008) and situational analysis (Clarke 2005) and enrich my former investigation primarily by analysis incorporating other theoretical approaches than I employed before. In this part I base my analysis on the approach to the interviews grounded in the „verstehende“ sociology as is employed by Kauffman (2010) and on the narrative analysis utilized by Sandberg (2010) based on Pressler (2008, 2009) notion of narrative approach.
Hypotézy:
Hypothesis is not seen as a suitable concept for qualitative analysis because logic of qualitative research follows rather „exploration“ than „verification“.
Charakteristika závěrů:
Expected outcome is enhancement and discussion of existing theoretical approaches concerning the theme of thesis as well as discussion of the available arsenal of methods. It touches in last years discussed and controversial issue of „secondary qualitative analysis“. This issue is gaining its importance in nowadays inter-connected and globalized world which posses a challenge of inter-national investigation.
