Guidelines

Studentka se ve své práci bude věnovat vývoji kultury neslyšících v Korejské republice. V úvodu budou představeny pohledy na sluchové postižení a postavení neslyšících v tradiční korejské společnosti a alternativní pohledy jednotlivých náboženských směrů a ideologií, které formovaly chápání této skupiny na počátku moderního období. Práce sama bude členěna do tří okruhů: komunikace neslyšících (znakové jazyky, kochleární implantáty etc.), emancipace neslyšících (organizace neslyšících, legální statut, role v budování demokratické společnosti a sociálního státu) a kultura neslyšících z hlediska vlastní reflexe komunity (literatura, obraz v médiích etc.). Zpracování uvedených okruhů pak poskytne vodítka k formulování základních distinktivních rysů korejské kultury neslyšících oproti evropskému a americkému diskursu.
