| "If I were in the unenviable position of having to study my work my points of departure would be the ‘Naught is more real ...‘ and the ‘Ubi nihil vales ...‘ both already in Murphy and neither very rational. " Oprávnení uvedeným Beckettovým doporučením sa v práci pokúsime sledovať vplyv Démokrita a Arnolda Geulincxa na jeho dielo a na fenomén negativity, ktorý tvorí centrálny problém Beckettovho tvorčieho úsilia. Výsledok analýzy porovnáme s Adornovým myslením a pokúsime sa ukázať, prečo Adorno považuje Becketta za modelový príklad nemožnosti a zároveň nutnosti umenia po Holokauste. |
