Guidelines

V práci se autor zaměří na zkoumání problémů britské zahraniční politiky od počátku 90. let 19. století do podepsání smlouvy s Japonskem v roce 1902. Především pak na fungování britského ministerstva zahraničí a působnost představitelů britské politiky. Základním cílem bude zhodnocení faktorů, jejichž působení vedlo Británii k postupné změně politiky a definitivnímu odmítnutí skvělé izolace v roce 1902. S ohledem na to se soustředí především zhodnocení soupeření velmocí v Africe a Dálném východě.
