Guidelines

Diplomová práce s názvem "Proklínací destičky a jejich archeologický kontext v římské provincii Britannie" bude primárně směřovat k archeologické interpretaci ritualizovaného jenání magicko-nábooženského charakteru, jakým je vytváření proklínacích destiček. Autorka se při zpracování práce omezí na římskou Británii chronologicky i teritorálně.
V úvodu své práce představí její cíle i metodu zpracování, také charakterizuje dostupné prameny a představí dějiny bádání o tomto fenoménu.
Dále v jednotlivých kapitolách představí tento fenomén nejen v Británii, ale také v náležité souvislosti s ostatními částmi antckého světa. Vzhledem k relativně pokročilém zpracování a publikování jednotlivých nálezů z Britských ostrovů bude autorčiným cílem se soustředit vedle jednotlivých destiček, jejich podoby a obsahu také na jejich nálezové okolnosti, tj. charakter a způsob deponování proklínacích destiček v archeologické situaci. Po shromíždění těchto údajů se autorka pokusí následně analyzovat jednotlivých uloženía odhalit případné charakteristiky. K tomu autorka na základě katalogu vytvoří tabulku se sledovanými parametry včetně zohlednění chronologie nálezů.
V záveru autorka vyhodnotí svá zjištění s ohledem na dataci a oblast nalezení jednotlivých destiček a do další roviny intepretace zapojí další shromážděné informace využitelné z zobecnění.
