Guidelines

Práce je snahou o deskripci společností centrální Afriky – konkrétně společností dnešních států Demokratické republiky Kongo, Rwandy a Burundi – kulturních a sociálních změn v nich uskutečněných a uskutečňovaných. Chronologicky ukotvená v období předkoloniálním zkoumá dynamiku života tamních společností, vzájemnou interakci či naopak její nepřítomnost. Jak se společnosti transformovaly podníceny kontaktem s kulturou evropskou v období koloniálním? Byly vzniknuvší státy něčím zcela umělým či zde byla jistá logická návaznost, například co se teritoriálního vymezení týče? Jaké důsledky to mělo pro životy lidí? Jakým výzvám čelí tyto státy dnes?

- studium období kdy došlo k vytvoření koloniálních států
- studium a analýza důsledků vytvoření těchto státních útvarů
přemítání nad limitovaností etnocentrismus v poznávání a interpretaci kultury druhých
