| Guidelines |
| Práce bude koncipována interdisciplinárně: kromě literární historie, kritiky a teorie se také bude opírat o relevantní poznatky z oblasti gay and lesbian studies, resp. queer theory. Soustředit se bude na ty vybrané povídky Tennesseeho Williamse, v nichž je homosexualita v jednotlivých postavách explicitně tematizovaná, a tyto pak následně bude analyzovat jak v dobovém kontextu jižanské grotesky a gotiky, tak prizmatem současných akademických teorií (viz výše). Cílem pak bude poukázat na shody i rozdíly v obou pojetích. |
