Guidelines

Diplomová práce se zaměří na prostředky vyjadřování interpersonální funkce („metadiscourse“), které zahrnují jednak postojové modifikátory, jimiž autor zmírňuje své tvrzení (hedges) nebo mu dodává důvěryhodnosti (boosters), jednak větné modifikátory nezačleněné do větné stavby, jimiž autor vyjadřuje své hodnotící postoje vzhledem k obsahu sdělení (attitude markers), komentuje způsob prezentace obsahu nebo odkazuje na svůj vztah k čtenáři (relational markers). Práce vyjde z tzv. integračního pojetí metadiskursu, které zahrnuje jak textové (interakční), tak interpersonální (interaktivní) prvky metadiskurzu. Pokud jde o jazykovou realizaci interpersonální funkce, lze očekávat prostředky vyjadřování modality (modální slovesa, adverbia, adjektiva), evaluativní adjektiva a adverbia i specifické konstrukce spojené s nepropozičním obsahem.
Autorka bude podrobně analyzovat nejméně čtyři univerzitní přednášky z oblasti humanitních a společenských věd (zdrojem analyzovaných textů bude korpus BASE). Z nich bude excerpováno minimálně 200 dokladů prostředků vyjadřování interpersonální funkce. Ty budou klasifikovány z hlediska funkce v textu a realizační formy. Interpersonální funkce a zastoupení vybraných lexiko-gramatické konstrukcí bude ověřena ve větším vzorku přednášek ze stejné oblasti.
