Preliminary scope of work |
Jaderná magnetická rezonance (NMR) je spektroskopickou metodou vysoce citlivou především na konfiguraci blízkého okolí rezonujících jader. Její aplikace v oboru fyziky kondenzovaných látek umožňuje sledovat strukturu a vnitřní dynamiku v látkách na mikroskopické úrovni.
Náplní práce bude měření spekter NMR a relaxačních rychlostí pro serie vybraných systémů vzorků, zejména oxidů obsahujících přechodové kovy, a interpretace experimentálních výsledků s cílem získat informace o přítomných hyperjemných interakcích, o mikrostruktuře, dynamice, fázových přechodech a o vlivu příměsí a snížení dimenze na interní magnetická pole. |
Preliminary scope of work in English |
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is highly sensitive spectroscopic method in respect to the configuration in a neighbourhood of resonating nuclei. Its application in condensed matter physics enables to study structure and dynamics of the materials on the microscopic level.
Within the frame of the work the NMR spectra an relaxation rates will be measured and interpreted in a series of selected samples, namely oxides containing transition elements. The aim is to obtain information on hyperfine interactions, local structure, dynamics, phase transitions and on impact of impurities and dimensionality on internal magnetic fields. |
