| HelenOS je experimentální operační systém vyvíjený na MFF UK. Jedním z důležitých úkolů je portování tohoto operačního systému na jiné platformy.
Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je port HelenOS na architekturu IA-64 a otestování v reálných podmínkách. Jako další volitelné cíle jsou testování výkonu operačního systému při využití různých vlastností IA-64 (např. VHPT) a překlad HelenOS pomocí překladačů firmy Intel. |

| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| HelenOS is an experimental operating system developed on our faculty. One of the main tasks is porting this operating system to other hardware platforms.
The main goal is porting HelenOS to the IA-64 architecture and testing this port on the real hardware. Optional goals include testing of operating system throughput using various features of IA-64 (e.g. VHPT) and compiling HelenOS by Intel's compilers. |
