Guidelines

Ve své bakalářské práci bych se chtěl věnovat náboženství starověkého Říma v době vlády císaře Augusta tak, jak se dívá politický filosof Eric Voegelin na náboženství ve své knize Politická náboženství. V této knize Voegelin analyzuje totalitní režimy 20. století, nachází v nich podobnosti s politickými náboženstvími a interpretuje je jako jejich sekularizovanou podobu. Pomocí postupu v jeho analýze chci porovnat prvky občanského náboženství Římského impéria v době velkých změn a reforem společnosti a systému s moderními totalitními režimy a najít v nich podobné i odlišné rysy a způsoby sebeinterpretace.
