Preliminary scope of work

Hlavním předmětem této práce je umělec Marcantonio Raimondi (1480–1534) a jeho dílo
v českých veřejných sbírkách, především ze Sbírky grafiky a kresby Národní galerie v Praze,
ale též dalších, jako je například sbírka v Moravské galerii v Brně. Zabývá se jak jeho tvorbou
kresebnou, tak grafickou. Velká část pozornosti je věnována Raimondiho u nás jediné
autorsky určené kresbě, známé pod názvem Apollón – Mladík se zrcadlem. Jelikož postavy
postrádají jasně rozpoznatelné atributy, je kresba z hlediska námětu stále více méně záhadou.
Proto se práce zaměřuje na možné ikonografické interpretace, a nejen pomocí Raimondiho
dochovaných kreseb a grafik se pokusí námět rozklíčovat. V další části jsou popsány a
interpretovány Raimondiho dochované grafické listy z veřejných sbírek v ČR, kdy po
rozčlenění z hlediska námětu, následuje jejich zasazení do Raimondiho životní tvorby.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The main subject of this thesis is the artist Marcantonio Raimondi (1480 – 1534) and his work
in Czech public collections, mainly from the Collection of Prints and Drawings of the National Gallery
in Prague, but also other collections, such as the one in the Moravian Gallery in Brno. A large part of
the attention is devoted to Raimondi's only dedicated drawing in our country, known under the name
Apollo - Young Man with a Mirror. Since the figures lack clearly recognizable attributes, the drawing
is still more or less a mystery in terms of its subject matter. Therefore, the thesis focuses on possible
iconographic interpretations, and attempts to decipher the subject not only by using Raimondi's
preserved drawings and prints. The next section captures Raimondi's existing prints from our
collections, and after breaking them down in terms of their theme, also places them within Raimondi's
life's work.
