Guidelines

Cílem bakalářské práce je na pozadí prací Roberta Pippina zhodnotit význam Hegelovy teze o „konci umění“. Vzít v úvahu je přitom třeba jak Hegelovu koncepci umění, jak je předložena v jeho Estetice, případně záznamech přednášek z estetiky, tak širší souvislosti Hegelovy filosofie, tedy roli, kterou Hegelově filosofickém systému estetika hraje. Zaměřit se je vhodné zejména na pojetí krásy jako smyslového vyjádření ideje a svobody. Výhoda Pippinovy polemiky s Hegelem nad tezí ke konci umění spočívá v tom, že probíhá nad konkrétní analýzou uměleckých děl (konkrétně Manetových obrazů), z nichž pak vyvozuje některé závěry o podstatě modernity a jejího vztahu k Hegelovi. Práce by měla rekonstruovat jádro Pippinovy argumentace a konfrontovat jej s Hegelovým vlastním postojem, případně posoudit, zda se Hegelovo stanovisko konce umění – vzhledem ke své cíleně antitetické povaze – samo nepřekračuje, tedy zda např. samotná existence modernistických děl nepoukazuje k nutnosti stanoviska konce umění.
