Preliminary scope of work

Nádorová onemocnění značně rostou. Jejich léčení je s postupem doby stále účinější. Mnohé protinádorové léky, mají také vedlejší toxické účinky. Mezi takové patří i antracykliny. Antracykliny se řadí mezi významná protinádorová antibiotika, která se ale vyznačují značnou kardiotoxicitou. Cílem bakalářské práce bude popsat mechanismus kardiotoxicity antracyklinů při onkologické léčbě.

Preliminary scope of work in English

Tumors are on the rise. Their treatment is becoming more and more effective over time. Many anticancer drugs also have toxic side effects. Anthracyclines are among these. Anthracyclines are among the important antitumor antibiotics, but they are characterized by significant cardiotoxicity. The aim of the bachelor thesis will be to describe the mechanism of cardiotoxicity of anthracyclines during oncological treatment.
