Preliminary scope of work
Vnější žábry obojživelníků jsou struktury vznikající distálním růstem z hltanové oblasti embrya. Během vývoje dochází na okraji žaberních zárodků k tvorbě dočasných signálních center (organizátorů), které zajišťují vyrůstání a správnou polarizaci vznikajících žaber. Daná diplomová práce má za cíl charakterizovat stavbu těchto center a ověřit jejich organizační vlastnosti na modelu vývoje žaber, ikonickém axolotlu Mexickém.
Preliminary scope of work in English
External gills of amphibians are structures originating due to the distal outgrowth from the pharyngeal region of the embryo. Temporary signaling centers (organizers) emerge at the edge of the developing external gill primordia and provide outgrowth and proper polarity of the resulting external gills. The proposed diploma project aims at characterizing the composition of these centers and evaluate their organizing properties on the model of external gill development, the iconic Mexican axolotl.
