Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of the thesis is to create a literary research summarizing the principles of nucleation of microtubules in plant cells. The preserved γTuRC plays a major role in this process and in plants it is predominantly recruited, using augmin and NEDD1/GCP-WD, to the wall of pre-existing microtubules, where nucleation is subsequently carried out. This microtubule-dependent microtubule nucleation takes place in the cortical region, within the spindle apparatus and the fragmoplast. The thesis will also focus on defining the contribution of nucleation to overall microtubular dynamics.
