Preliminary scope of work

Disertace se zabývá zahraničními studenty z Ghany, kteří studují nebo studovali na univerzitách v zemích globálního Severu. Výzkum má dva hlavní související cíle. Prvním je studovat migrační plány a skutečné migrační chování těchto studentů po ukončení studia. Druhým pak je zkoumat jejich kariérní vývoj po ukončení studia a specificky pak, zda a jak přispívají k rozvoji země jejich původu, resp. jejich komunity v domovské zemi.

Preliminary scope of work in English

This dissertation focuses on students from Ghana who pursue or pursued their education at universities in the Global North. It has two interrelated objectives. The first objective is to investigate their intentions and actual behaviour with respect to migration after their graduation. The second objective is to examine their post-graduate career paths and specifically their contributionto development of their home country and/or comunity in their home country.
