Guidelines
The goal of this thesis is to study selected regularization methods for the solution of noise-contaminated ill-posed inverse problems arising in 2D and 3D imaging applications. The questions to be studied include in particular development and analysis of reliable iterative regularization approaches and denoising techniques. Various aspects related to their performance in finite precison computations will be studied.
