Cílem diplomové práce bude zkoumat funkční vztah mezi expresí mutantního desminu a mitochondriální dysfunkcí, který je do značné míry stále neznámý.

Desminopathy is a serious progressive muscular disease associated with the formation of protein aggregates and disruption of the myofibrilatory contractile muscle fiber apparatus. The aim of this diploma thesis will be to investigate the functional relationship between expression of mutant desmin and mitochondrial dysfunction, which is largely unknown.
