Cílem diplomové práce je studium interakcí mezi rostlinami a ptačími opylovači podél výškového gradientu v různých ročních obdobích na Mt. Cameroonu. Student by měl získat komplexní matice interakcí ve čtyřech nadmořských výškách jak v období dešťů tak v období sucha. Informace o interakcích budou získávány jednak pomocí pozorování a jednak genetickou analýzou pylu přenášeného ptáky. Součástí budou i různé případové studie testující různé aspekty těchto interakcí.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of the theses is to study plant-bird pollination interactions along the tropical altitudinal gradient in different seasons in Mt. Cameroon. The student should receive complex plant-pollinator interaction matrices in four elevations along the altitudinal gradient both in dry and rainy season. Data on interactions wil be recieved using observation approach and DNA analyses of pollen loads. The part of the theses should be also various case studies on different aspects of these interactions.
