Sérum a glukokortikoid regulovaná kináza 1 (SGK1) patří mezi serin/threoninové kinázy, jejíž exprese je řízena na mnoha úrovních obzvláště hladinou glukokortikoidů v séru. Srdce je jedním z mnoha tkání s vysokou expresí SGK1. Během posledních několika let existují stále větší důkazy, že exprese SGK1 je regulována během jednotlivých vývojových stadií a patologických stavů, jako je hypertenze, diabetická neuropatie, ischémie, trauma a neurodegenerativní onemocnění. Cílem diplomové práce bude přispět k porozumění úlohy SGK1 v srdci u chladově adatovaných potkanů.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Serum/glucocorticoid regulated kinase 1 (SGK1) belongs to a subfamily of serine/threonine kinases that is under acute transcriptional control by several stimuli, including serum and glucocorticoids. The heart is among one of the many tissues with high SGK1 expression. Over the past few years, there has been increasing evidence that SGK1 expression is regulated during both discrete developmental stages and pathological conditions such as hypertension, diabetic neuropathy, ischemia, trauma, and neurodegenerative diseases. The aim of the diploma thesis is to to contribute to undestanding of the role of SGK1 in heart of cold adaptated rats.
