Guidelines

Preliminary scope of work in English
Precise values of the masses of atomic nuclei are crucial for nuclear astrophysics. They are important for understanding the stellar processes and relative abundances of the elements in the Universe. Up to this day, the masses of more than 2000 isotopes have been measured and have been summarized in "The 2016 Atomic Mass Evaluation". The goal of this project is to get familiar with this table and provide fits to existing theoretical nuclear mass formulae.
