Guidelines

Výzkum se zaměřuje na současný diskurz ohledně tématu dětí války v Bosně a Hercegovině. Využité zdroje jako texty či reportáže z médií, knihy, školní publikace, či záznamy výroků politiků budou zkoumány pomocí metod diskurzivní analýzy.

Preliminary scope of work

Hlavním předmětem výzkumu je společenský diskurz o dětech narozených následkem znásilnění během války v Bosně a Hercegovině v letech 1992 - 1995. Veřejný diskurz je tvořen skrze média, filmy, knihy a jiné publikace a často také vyjádřením politických představitelů. Způsob, jakým se o dětech války v bosenské společnosti hovoří má velký vliv nejen na různé aspekty života těchto osob, ale také na celý proces poválečného usmíření společnosti. Cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat vytváření narativu o dětech války v Bosně a Hercegovině a identifikovat důležité mezníky (časové - tematické) v jeho vývoji. Konečným výstupem by měla být analýza role současného společenského diskurzu o dětech války v rámci politiky usmiřování v poválečné společnosti.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The main subject of the research is a current public discourse on the children born of rape during or after the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the years 1992 – 1995. The narrative is created by medias, movies, books or other publications and the politicians’ statements. The way in which people use to talk about children born of war has big influence not only on the lives of these persons, but also on a whole post-conflict reconciliation process. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the narrative’s creation and to find the main landmarks in its process. The final output should be the analysis of the role of public discourse on children born of war within the reconciliation process.
