Guidelines

Alexandr Veliký po sobě zanechal obrovskou říši, která se však záhy rozpadla na několik dalších státních útvarů, všechny ale spojovala helénistická kultura. Z východní části této říše (Baktrie) se v polovině 3. století před Kristem vyčlenilo takzvané Řecko-baktrijské království. Jeho obyvatelstvo se skládalo jak z Řeků a Makedonců, které zde usídlil Alexandr (potažmo jejich potomků), tak z Řeků později přicestovavších a samozřejmě původního baktrijského obyvatelstva. Právě v této nejodlehlejší části helénistického světa lze pozorovat silné prolínání řecké kultury s původním kulturním substrátem. Tato práce si klade za cíl postihnout proměny řeckého náboženství v konfrontaci s cizím prostředím Baktrie. Budu vycházet zejména z archeologických nálezů z Ai Chanúmu, Tacht-i sanginu, Dilberdžinu a Torbuloku, kde se nacházejí důležité sakrální objekty. Budu též pracovat s epigrafickým materiálem z těchto lokalit. Pokusím se ukázat, jakým způsobem se formuje nová náboženská identita obyvatel Řecko-baktrijského království a jakým způsobem se proměňuje kultická praxe a sakrální architektura. Vodítkem mi při tom budou postkoloniální teorie, jak je na helénistický svět aplikovala Rachel Mairs.
