Preliminary scope of work
Disertační práce má přiblížit osobnost Emanuela Arnošta z Valdštejna prostřednictvím jeho vlastní tvorby v jedné z životních etap před nástupem na biskupský stolec v Litoměřicích. Vlastní obsah bude rozdělen do dvou hlavních částí: 1. úvodní studie k osobě Emanuela Arnošta z Valdštejna a 2. edice rukopisných kázání. Pro druhou část disertační práci bude základním pramenem soubor konceptů kázání z let 1746–1755 sepsaných Emanuelem Arnoštem z Valdštejna, která jsou psána převážně v češtině. Celkově lze hovořit o 38 po sobě jdoucích promluvách.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The dissertation aims to introduce the personality of Emmanuel Ernst von Waldstein through his own work in one of the life stages before taking up the episcopal seat in Litoměřice. The content itself will be divided into two main parts: 1. an introductory study on the person of Emmanuel Ernst von Waldstein and 2. an edition of manuscript sermons. For the second part of the dissertation, the basic source will be a collection of drafts of sermons from the years 1746–1755 written by Emmanuel Ernst von Waldstein, which are written mainly in Czech. In total, we can speak of 38 consecutive speeches.
