Sleduje význam auxinu a dalších fytohormonů v této koordinaci i s využitím rostlin nesoucích potřebné reportérově geny. Práce využívá metodu ručních řezů, histochemické a mikroskopické techniky.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The study follows the impact of nutrient deficiency on the pattern of exodermis differentiation in maize roots (or other model plants). It follows also regulatory mechanisms coordinating the maturation of outer-cortex layers with root branching and primordia emergence from the parent root. The involvement of auxin and other phytohormones is assayed using maize lines carrying appropriate reporter genes. Hand-sectioning, histochemistry and microscopy are involved as the most important methods.
