Guidelines

Práce bude zkoumat některé aspekty propojení náboženství s narativitou; konkrétně se pokusím poukázat na specifika narativů navázaných na náboženství a funkce, které mohou v daných společenstvích plnit (na úrovni jednice i společnosti). Hlavní východisko představují práce antropologů Victora Turnera a Mary Douglas, kteří si povšimli, že společnosti cítí potřebu věnovat se tomu, co nezapadá do jejich klasifikačních systémů (antistruktura u Turnera, „matter out of place“ u Douglas). Práce s těmito skutečnostmi často probíhá v náboženském kontextu a je mnohdy napojena na příběhy, ať už se jedná o mýty, rituály (v jejich performativním aspektu, přejímání rolí) či posvátné texty. V práci se zaměřím právě na tento narativní aspekt, který se budu snažit analyzovat jednak skrze literaturu věnující se povaze a funkci narativů, dále pak za užití textů věnujících se používání narativů v terapii (narrative based medicine) a textů zkoumajících působení narativů na formování lidské zkušenosti. Pomocí těchto zdrojů se pak pokusím nastínit, jakým způsobem právě narativy umožnují pracovat s problémovými prvky ve společnostech, jakou roli zde hraje jejich napojení na náboženství, a případně lze-li nějaké narativy považovat za výsostně náboženské.
