Práce se bude věnovat představě krásy v amerických pořadech Miss USA a America´s next top model. Zaměří se na obsah jednotlivých pořadů a jejich vývoj v čase. Bude se zabývat rozdíly mezi pořady především v ohledu hledání ideální adeptky na vítězku i parametry, podle kterých jsou dívky srovnávány a které mají být indikátorem krásy. Teoretická část se zaměří na žánr reality TV, soutěže krásy a ideál krásy ve společnosti.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Thesis will focus on the concept of beauty in America shows Miss USA and America's next top model. It will focus on the content of individual programs and their evolution over time. It will discuss the differences between programs, especially in regard to the search for the ideal candidate, the winner and the parameters which are compared and girls to be an indicator of beauty. The theoretical part will deal with the genre of reality TV, beauty contests and the ideal of beauty in society.
