Guidelines
The contemporary Web contains primarily documents that are difficult to be automatically processed by programs. Therefore, an idea of the Web of Data based especially on RDF triples appeared to enrich the existing Web of Documents. Although there are several ways how to achieve this goal, RDF triples seem to be the most promising. This assumption could easily be supported by the obvious explosion of globally available RDF data. However, the usage and dissemination of RDFS schemata or OWL ontologies for such data seem to be under expected possibilities. In particular, we can often be provided RDF data graphs without attached schemata and, thus, we may be wondering how to infer missing schemata automatically.
The aim of this thesis is a research on possibilities and limitations of techniques for inferring schemata or ontologies for RDF data graphs. First of all, it is necessary to analyze existing approaches and discuss their advantages and disadvantages. The core of the work should be a proposal of own approach dealing with the analysis results and an implementation of this approach supported by experimental results.
