Preliminary scope of work

Po volbách do Spolkového sněmu v roce 1969 musela CDU odejít do opozice. Ustavila programovou komisi v čele s Helmutem Kohlem, jejíž úkolem bylo doplnit Berlínský program z roku 1968. Návrh přijatý komisí se stal předmětem ostré kritiky konzervativního proudu ve straně a byl později výrazně upraven ústředním výborem strany. Tzv. Druhá verze Berlínského programu byla přijata düsseldorfským sjezdem v roce 1971.

Preliminary scope of work in English

After the parliamentary election of 1969 the Christian Democratic CDU Party was forced into opposition. It constituted a program commission chaired by Helmut Kohl which should update the Berlin Program from 1968. The proposal adopted by the commission led to fierce critic from party conservatives and was later redrafted by the party committee. The so called Second version of the Berlin Program was adopted by the Congress of Düsseldorf in 1971.
