Preliminary scope of work

Vztah mezi teplotou, velikostí těla při vylíhnutí a dobou inkubace u plazů vykazuje různé závislosti na vnitrodruhové a mezidruhové úrovni. Cílem projektu je testovat tento vztah mezi blízce příbuznými druhy gekonů dvou fylogenetických linií (rod Paroedura a čeleď Eublepharidae). Obě linie vykazují značnou mezidruhovou variabilitu ve velikosti vajec.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The relationship among temperature, body size at hatching and incubation time in reptiles differs at intra- and interspecific level. The aim of the project is to test this relationship in closely related species of two geckkotan phylogenetic lineages (the genus Paroedura and the family Eublepharidae). Both lineages exhibit substantial variability in egg size.
