Guidelines

Úkolem studenta je nastudovat kapitoly 8 a 9 z knihy [Joseph Rotman, An introduction to the theory of groups] a vyřešit doprovodná cvičení. Kapitola 8 je věnována vybraným rodinám jednoduchých lineárních grup, především grupám PSL(V). Kapitola 9 je věnována vícetranzitivním grupám a jednoduchým grupám Mathieu. Obsahem práce bude řešení vybraných cvičení a stručný souhrn teorie nutný k pochopení těchto řešení.
