| Bakalářská práce „Fotografie v časopise Mladý svět (1968, 1988, 1998)“ pojednává o týdeníku Mladý svět vydávaným především pro mládež. Stručně shrnuje jeho vznik a vývoj od počátku jeho vydávání do jeho zániku. Následně se soustřeďuje na reportážní fotografii, významné osobnosti Mladého světa a časopis z hlediska fotografie v letech 1968, 1988 a 1998.
Nastiňuje historické souvislosti okupačního, normalizačního a období devadesátých let, zejména soudobou situaci v oblasti médií, a podrobně se věnuje obsahu týdeníku z hlediska jeho obrazové složky. Zkoumá zaměření jednotlivých fotografických reportáží nebo dokumentárních fotografií a fotografických cyklů a snaží se vymezit jejich rozdíly mezi zmiňovanými lety. Zabývá se tématy fotografií, reportáží a jejich pojetím ve vztahu ke čtenářům i režimu a jeho institucím. Stručně se věnuje životopisům osobností Mladého světa, které významně přispěly k jeho tvorbě a rozkvětu. Pokouší se stanovit a rozebrat, jak se obrazová složka týdeníku za jejich působení vymezovala a měnila. V závěru se snaží postihnout časopis jako fenomén své doby a nastínit příčiny jeho obrovské popularity a výsadního postavení na československé (později české) mediální scéně. |

| The bachelor thesis “Photography in the periodical called Mladý svět (1968, 1988, 1998)” deals with the magazine called Mladý svět which was above all intended to young people. It briefly summarizes its origin, and development from the beginning to the end of its publishing. Consequently it focuses on the reportage photography itself, significant personalities of Mladý svět and the periodical in light of the pictures in the years 1968, 1988 and 1998.
The paper outlines historical connections of the occupation regime, period of the normalization and the era of the nineties. It follows in detail by contemporaneous situation in media in these periods and specializes in visual factor of Mladý svět. It investigates the sight of the periodical from the point of the main subject of the pictures used and delimitates the differences between the single years. It occupies by the topics of photography and reportages and its conception due to the readers, regime and its institutions. It attends briefly to the biographies of the personalities of Mladý svět who meaningfully contributed to its production and prime. It is trying to define how the visual element of Mladý svět was changing during their activity there. At the close it involves the periodical as the phenomenon of its era and outlines the reasons of its huge popularity and the privilege place at the Czechoslovak (later Czech) medial scene. |
