Preliminary scope of work |
Preliminary scope of work in English |
Novel spectroscopic probes (such as coherent nonlinear spectroscopies, single molecule spectroscopy, etc.) manifest entire stochastic path of optical molecular transition frequencies and tracks both internal dynamics of molecules or the dynamics of excitations within aggregate in the spectra of proteins, quantum dots, phototsyntetic aggregates or liquids. Their modelling require variety of methods of nonequilibrium statistical physiscs ranging from phenomenologic methods such as the stochastic dynamics or master equations up to microscopic modelling by MD simulations and quantum chemistry methods. After completing background research applicant is assumed (according to his/her interest) to focus either on implementation of MD/QC on system of experimental interest or on development of general methodics. |
