Guidelines

1. Make a literature research on secondary metabolites content in Corydalis yanhusuo. Describe methods used for their isolation, identification and summarize their biological activities.

2. Work up the alkaloidal fraction of chlorides soluble in chloroform, phenolic (Cl s in CHCl3, phenol.) from Corydalis yanhusuo, isolate minimally one alkaloid in pure form. Identify its structure using MS, NMR methods and spectral data reported in literature.

3. Prepare isolated compounds for biological testing (antioxidative activity, inhibition of erythrocyte AChE and serum BuChE).

4. Analyse all results and write diploma thesis.
